Today’s post is about Twitter.com. If you haven’t used the service yet, it’s a blast! Just go to Twitter.com and sign up for a free account. The service is kind of a micro-blogging platform that allows you to post small tid-bits about your day, blog or whatever to the Twitter-ers that are following you.
Twitter is a great tool for marketing. Updating your followers on a specific blog post, “tweeting” a follower to check out a post they may have been asking about and it all happens instantly. A twist of instant messaging and blogging.
There are also many applications that help you use Twitter even more and make it easier to post your “tweets”. Apps like Twhirl, which is a downloadable client that allows a user to tweet without having to go to the Twitter.com website. I use this one and have it running in the background all the time. It’s a real time saver.
Twitter.com can also be used for new, or old, marketing campaigns that you have for your blog or website. Marketing through Twitter is hotter than ever, but there are always some users that go to far and abuse the fact that they have followers and they think that every one of them wants to read their latest post about Twitter
Check the service out, it’s newer than old and a real asset to anyone looking to get exposure to their blog, website or even themselves. Once you have a bunch of followers you will be spying on their every move and you can count on reading something that will make you smile!

Good post, Sukosaki. I’m a pretty strong Twitter user, but I like Plurk a little more because of the interactivity.
Excellent post, I love that people all over the blogosphere are jumping on the Twitter bandwagon.
I feel it is a great source of traffic to my blog!
Cheers
